What is a song without words?
I know music, on its own, speaks a thousand words. But the fusion of notes and words makes it all magical isn't it.
I have been working with a few songs recently, english, german, italian, latin they came in. And I realised much satisfaction was derived out of the processes of firstly translating the foreign languages into your native one, therein infering what the little packets of translated words, not necessarily meaningful as an entity on its own, are trying to express. Finally, marrying the words with the music, making sense of the structure of the music, why some of the words were fitted in one way or another etc.. Those were intense and really intimate moments I had with myself. And what I gained from that, I share it with the people I make music with.
Life is great and wonderful when you've the passion for something.
Life has limitless possibilities.
Life is like a candle, burning. The candle will eventually burn out, the wick might fail. Thus, burn brightly always and lend your light to the ones around you.
